About
I first became interested in real estate in the 70’s when I worked for the Social Security Administration. It was the time when the headquarters of SSA was expanding and there was a lot of land acquisition and building going on. I worked for the head architect, engineers and project managers who were responsible for the expansion. This was also when I purchased land and built my first home.
I went on to get my real estate license in Maryland and later a reciprocity license in Pennsylvania. In my first year as a full time agent, I closed over one million dollars in sales in the first 11 months with an average sales price of $60,000.
I know what it is like to move with small children from state to state as a corporate transfer since I experienced several until finally moving to Georgia in 1991. I raised my 3 daughters in Georgia and have loved all that this state has to offer its residents.
I started my own business in Chicago and expanded it after my move to Georgia. I was a balloon artist which means I did everything from balloon deliveries, children’s parties, to large scale decorating for weddings, proms, homecomings, and corporate events. Some of my more well known clients include Publix, Purina, Dreamworks record division, the Omni Hotel, and Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation Department, and many schools throughout the Gwinnett, Habersham and Walton county areas.
My family has grown over the years to include my husband Mike, 5 daughters, 4 son in laws, and 3 grandchildren. We live on Lake Lanier with our youngest daughter who will be graduating from Berry College in 2010.
I enjoy cooking, entertaining family and friends, bible study and playing cards (bridge and euchre).
I have returned to my first love of helping people buy and sell real estate. I look forward to helping you with your next move.
